Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintaining all center areas in clean and sanitary conditions, including floor waxing and scrubbing cots at regular intervals.
• Responsible for minor repairs of center equipment.
• Removal of debris from premises and rake sandbox.
• Clean walls
• Clean partitions – blinds
• Clean toilet bowls, sinks and walls
• Clean windows (interior & exterior)
• Sweep all mats and carpet in and out of offices
• Grounds maintenance
• Bring up food trays and return them after meal time, if applicable.
• Attend in-service and pre-service trainings.
• Adhere to the Performance Standards and Local/County Regulations.
• Any other duties assigned by the CEO/Executive Director, Senior Manager, or Site Supervisor.
Requirements:
1. Satisfactory previous experience in doing minor repairs and cleaning.
2. Ability to relate well to children and adults.
3. High School Diploma/GED.

The Office of Head Start helps young children from low-income families prepare to succeed in school through local programs. The Head Start program promotes children's development through services that support early learning, health, and family well-being.
