About the Event

One thing the pandemic has taught the world is that connectivity through technology is part of every global citizen. If you have always wanted to learn using a personal computer, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Publisher, now is your opportunity. We will give you the skills you need to put together a professional resume, understand Excel spreadsheets, make a PowerPoint presentation to surprise your audience and more. Get the skills you need to get the job you want and desserve, become a savvy computer user today.

This course is for beginners as well as intermediate computer users and it's offered at NO COST. 

Learn job search skills, how to dress for success, gain resume writing skills, interviewing skills, and also meet some nice people just like you. For your safety and ours this course is taught in a socially-distanced classroom. This means we have a limited number of stations available so it is important that you reserve your spot. To get one you must first qualify. Give us a call and make an appointment for an interview at the Displaced Homemakers Program by calling (516) 292-9710 ext.1818. Public transportation assistance available for those who show need. Public parking available in the surrounding area (bring quarters to feed the parking meter)
