Heroin Educational Summit

On February 18, 2016, a total of twenty-five (25) County Wide Youth participated in the Nassau County Heroin Educational Summit hosted by the Nassau County Executive, Ed Mangano at the Coral House in Baldwin. The summit was broken down into five (5) sessions; behavioral health awareness, the police perspective, new enforcement announcements, help and hope and narcan training which allowed youth coordinators and EOC staff to receive their certification and a free narcan kit.
