About the Event
The course begins with learning the foundations of a computer and what makes it work. We then build on these principles and learn all about operating systems with a concentration on Microsoft Windows10. We next move into using MS Word, Microsoft's oldest and most utilized word processing software in the business world. We next move into MS Excel, a powerful spreadsheet program where basic math principles are utilized to understand how Excel works. After an intensive week of formulas and pivot tables we move into our last week where we learn MS PowerPoint, a popular presentation software and MS Publishing, used for posters, flyers, business cards, and more.
